The Visper Pürumärt has become an integral part of everyday life in Visp. Not just as a Friday evening meeting place where visitors can get in the mood for the weekend with regional Valais specialties. It is also an opportunity to taste and buy fresh produce from local Valais farmers. The direct sale of regional products guarantees a high level of quality and makes it possible to really experience the freshness from the farm.

At many stands you will find products that are not available in normal stores. Whether fruit, vegetables, cheese, eggs or Valais dried meat specialties, fresh bread and baked goods, raclette, sausages straight from the grill – the Visper Pürumärt offers a real alternative to large-scale distributors.

For a convivial atmosphere, our wineries Cave de la Tour, Chanton, Johanneli Fi and St. Jodernkellerei will take turns presenting their fine wines. The agricultural center sells local beers and the Turtmann cheese dairy and Visperterminen dairy spoil us with fine raclettes and also offer their cheese specialties for sale. The Pürumetzg prepares delicious aperitif platters with meat from its own production as well as grilled sausages.
